Logo- Updated For The Trailer

Below you can find our completed company logo to go in our trailer. Through Photoshop and Pinnacle Avid Studios software we were able to create a moving logo to become part of the actual trailer itself.

Much like the iconic Pixar Animation Studios intro or the Warner Bros. intro, we wanted to create a similarly memerable logo that encapsulated what our film production stand for and what kind of content we create.

Filming Session 1

Filming Session 1
Our first session with Esther was a successful learning experience. After storyboarding a ransom video which we had in mind to end our trailer on we began trying to create some initial shots to see how we worked with our actress and decide how we wanted our final shots to look when it came to recreating them.

Our chosen location was our school drama studio in which we were able to manipulate the lighting to suit us, and black out the surroundings to imply a basement type location in which our kidnappers would have tied our her up in.

Scripting Part 1

The only block of dialogue that we will need to script is for the end of our trailer when the child is forced to participate in a ransom video and says the words given to her by the kidnapper.

During our first filming session, we briefly scripted the below text to see what worked with our actress, which we would later develop.

'Mum, It's me,
Don't worry, It's fine,
I'm okay.
I've been taken by these men,
Please help, help me.'

On reflection we thought the passage is slightly contradictory. She says 'Don't worry I'm fine' didn't give the correct effect of having the child begging for help.

We have altered the script to this -

Mum, It's me,
Please help, I've been taken.
I'm scared,
They want your money,
Please help, help me.
